It's worth it. in Compressors and Parts

You have a problem with your air conditioner because of one of them, replace it, you will have a freezing air conditioner, don't go to the dealer.

My problem has been solved: Spare parts

I have a 2013 Nissan Altima and the air conditioning stopped cooling when the air temperature was above 90 degrees. I took it to a mechanic and they said it would cost $1800 to fix the problem. After some research I found that replacing this part and the expansion chamber could solve the problem. In the end it worked. I would 100% try this before trying to fix the entire system. Hope this helps someone out there.

This saved me almost $1500

Photo of a genuine part taken from a 2014 Nissan Altima 2.5. (Separate cup for size comparison). This part was the perfect replacement. The mechanic said this would not solve my son's AC problem. He said I would have to spend over $1400 on a new compressor. My son and I replaced this in about 10 minutes. Took his car to put the freon back in (we removed them so we could replace that part) and voila! Ice maker again. Do it yourself and save $$$. Note: You will need snap ring pliers to remove the

Best buy in a long time if not ever

This thing never worked for me but it worked this time. A mechanic from a major car dealership told me that my compressor burned out and it will even be delivered tomorrow. But I kept seeing a pop up video on You Tube saying wait before you spend 1400 on a new AC compressor and install it. I'm glad I did. Ordered part, got it the next day. Very easy installation, only $35 and the problem is completely fixed. I have used it on my 17 Altima s. Never write reviews or try quick fixes as they neverโ€ฆ

An inexpensive and easy way to repair your air conditioner.

I had an issue with my 2013 Altima SV air conditioner that wouldn't cool when the temperature was above 85 degrees. The air conditioning came on weak and only cooled when the car was moving, blowing the air warm when it was idling. Below 85 degrees it cools well, but definitely not as it should. Finally tired of the hot car in the Florida sun and decided to fix it. I hooked up some AC distribution gauges and got readings of 80(L) and 135(H) which gave me an indication of a possible stuck valve.

I saved $1200 at the shop!

I have done some research and found that this 2014 Nissan Altima and similar air conditioning compressor systems solenoid is a very common source of failure. When it fails, it appears as if the compressor itself has failed, when in fact the only thing that's attached to the compressor is the $40 solenoid. My shop assured me that the compressor was defective and that the replacement cost would be $1,200, including parts and labor. When I asked him if he was 100% sure, he offered to show me hisโ€ฆ
