Almost useless and never refundable for returned items

Didn't work very well at first but nothing special, it's a cheap tool and you get what you pay for. My big problem is the return. In fact never received a refund and until now not noticed. I have no way of contacting the manufacturer or Revain and I am unable to contact the manufacturer or Revain, pretty SOL on the matter.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Junk Brake Bleeder

This is a great vacuum test kit but crap for bleeding brakes. I couldn't get a tight seal on the brake bleeders no matter how much lube I used on them and the cup. The cup is also very fragile and seems like it will break just by placing the tubes on it. I went back to my simple check valve tube and had a second person press the brake pedal - works great. Save your money and don't bother with this set.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Something different

Could be better: Brake tool

Bought to bleed the brakes on the motorcycle. The pump itself is pretty good and solid, but that's where it stops. The container is too small and it is almost impossible to prevent leakage. The amount of sealant included in the kit is ridiculous and not even close to enough to use the kit once. It is difficult to create a tight connection with different adapters. I was able to get the job done, but it's not a very impressive set.

  • Brings joy

Easy Bleed Brakes

This is a great product! I was able to change the brake fluid in my Harley on the fly (the last time I tried this I finally gave up and had my local Harley mechanic finish it). The back took a little learning (everything was sealed to create a vacuum), but the front was a breeze. I only have one tip: make sure you have some petroleum jelly (or lube) on hand before you start. I had to "glue" the rim of the cup properly on the outside for a good seal - otherwise no problem.

Makes it easy to bleed the brakes with one hand

So if you're not coordinating like me, you can understand the complex dance of opening and closing the bleed valve and squeezing the master cylinder to try and squeeze the brown brake fluid off your old tired brakes highways. This makes the process very easy and keeps everything clean meaning you don't accidentally strip paint with brake fluid. My only concern is that they supply a VERY small tube of grease to use as a sealant between the exhaust valve and the tube. That's maybe enough for 2-3…

Brake Bleed Kit under Tools & Equipment

I am a true DIY enthusiast and love maintaining my vehicles. One thing most people overlook is a brake fluid flush every year or two. On a new car, the brake fluid looks clear as water, but after a few years it resembles iced tea, which means it has attracted moisture, which is normal for Dot 3 brake fluid. When you release it, the wheel cylinder and calipers are the Subject to corrosion, and after such a long time they start to leak, which is not good. I bought this Actron vacuum pump/brake…

Useful but tiring and frustrating to use

Much easier to use than a good old two person brake system, no doubt bleed/change fluid. The premise is that a person can pump brake fluid and bladders out of the system with a manual handheld vacuum pump, rather than pushing them out by pedaling in the car. This is accomplished, but there are some other frustrations to contend with. First, the system relies on a hermetic seal around the bleed screw threads, between the bleed screw and the bleed adapter set, between the bleed adapter and the…
