Well done. Fits my 2006 GMC Yukon perfectly.

Well done. Fits my 2006 GMC Yukon XL perfectly. Very quick installation. It only took 20 minutes to remove the inner cover, install the drive and reattach the inner door cover. money well spent.

Five Star Parts

Great product, well packaged, works perfectly. I will recommend the product. partial update. The part broke after 7 months, it advertised a lifetime warranty on the part so I emailed Dade and they replaced it for free. Great customer service, thanks Dade. Happy customer Gary

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • No form required

Great value for money electric door lock

The product works great and I am very happy with it. The repair (not the part's fault) is a little tricky, but there are some great how-to videos on YouTube. It was many times cheaper than through O'Riley/Autozone and after 6 months the problem was fixed (which was a loud grinding noise).

Pros
  • Nice looks
Cons
  • Compatibility

Right of return too early

It actually worked, although the drive made a whirring sound when the car was closed, which I was able to tune into with the radio. Now I need to replace the actuator due to a permanent malfunction that caused the other one to fail. - What do I need to pay attention to when purchasing?

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Annoying

Easy repair, perfect fit, saved over $900

I installed this actuator on a 2006 Cadillac Escalade ESV. After receiving a $950 quote from a GM dealer for a "comprehensive rear locking system repair," I decided to buy the part for only $19.99 and try it myself. The repair was easy, took about 30 minutes and now my rear lock works like new. I calculated that I saved $930 by doing this simple repair myself (I'm good with tools but don't consider myself anything but an amateur). I think with a savings that big I should be rewarded with a big…

Read BEFORE installing!

You are most likely reading this because your current latch actuator has failed. If, like some others, you want to avoid premature failure of your new part, read on. This product has failed me after only 8 months of light to moderate use. At first I thought it was just an inferior product compared to the OEM part, like some other reviewers. However, I paused to wonder if it was possible that this part failed for the same reason as the OEM part. Eventually I found the reason. The clue that…
