I installed this actuator on a 2006 Cadillac Escalade ESV. After receiving a $950 quote from a GM dealer for a "comprehensive rear locking system repair," I decided to buy the part for only $19.99 and try it myself. The repair was easy, took about 30 minutes and now my rear lock works like new. I calculated that I saved $930 by doing this simple repair myself (I'm good with tools but don't consider myself anything but an amateur). I think with a savings that big I should be rewarded with a big juicy ribeye steak! The part fit perfectly and worked just like the original part. I would highly recommend this item and the manufacturer.
