Do not buy. good as a spare part

Do not buy! There is no eyelet to connect the wiring harness. So it won't snap and just fall off. In addition, the hole for the mounting screw is larger than the original. I ended up taking the parts out of the new case and putting them into the old case.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • I don't like it that much, everything is fine

Maybe better than the original

Arrived on time, well packaged. The part was advertised as working on a 2007 Grand Caravan and while it looks slightly different (noticeably larger) it fit and worked well and may be slightly stronger than the original part.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Repair

I just saved hundreds of dollars installing this actuator myself!

Following an instructional video on Youtube (search "replacing a 01-07 Chrysler Town & Country Door Lock Actuator") I installed this door lock actuator on my 2007 Dodge Caravan that was less than 30 years old is. Protocol. A few years ago when I asked a Dodge dealer to replace a door actuator when it failed the first time, the dealer's shop charged $295 for parts and labor. Save a lot of money and do it yourself!

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Negative Impression

I watched a few videos and found the installation very easy. I confirmed the new one would work before installing it. These sliding doors have broken wiring harnesses all the time, so you need to make sure there is power to the lock. I heard mine trying to work so I was sure this would fix it. I also needed a new driver's side wiring harness as it was cut off. As for the driver's door, I still found it easier to remove the latch assembly from the door opening so I could see what I was doing…

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive

Fits perfectly. No questions. 2005 Grand Caravan

I watched a YouTube video on how to install these actuators on a 2005 Caravan. On the passenger sliding door, I drilled a 1/2" hole to access the T-15 Torx screw that holds the factory actuator in place. First I did the passenger door. Took me about 40 minutes from start to finish. The driver's sliding door did not require drilling to access the T-15 Torx screw. It took me about 18-20 minutes on the driver's side. If I had to replace them one more time, I could do them both in about 35-43…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
