Undesirable product best in heater door lever

Broken and crumpled package arrived. Still installed and not working. It takes several hours to install, so I do not recommend this product. just trash.

This setup is not for the impatient. Must have a good understanding of cars and around 4 hours of R&R. I'm not sure why I'm being asked for a second review.

But OEM not af: Heater door lever

Stick OEM (Ford part) I tried 2 of these and both only moved in one direction. I ordered a part for a Motorkaft, everything works. Yes, the original is almost twice the price, but it works.

Fits snugly on dash

Product worked great and was difficult to squeeze into the tight space under the dash. You have to position the drive correctly to fit the mount, but once this was done and reattached everything worked perfectly!

Works fine, with one caveat.

This article came about while I was looking for a door opener for my 2005 Ford Expedition. When I pulled the old one out, I was disappointed to find that the white splined shaft was larger and shaped differently than the new one. Luckily the internals were identical, so I took them both apart and swapped the shafts. Works like clockwork.
