Excellent purchase. best in power door lock

Good product. Requires clips from old ones for installation. Don't throw away the old until you get your hands on the new. The original mounting screws were worn out. Simply drill them out and replace with new stainless steel ones for longer life. Worth every penny.

After trial and error everything was fine

Although the part was identical to the OEM I think it was generally cheaply made like the original. Working inside a small door space is always difficult but doable. After successful installation, everything worked as in a new window.

Fits but could be better

It was the right part and it fit the car but it didn't quite fit perfectly, I had to fiddle with it a bit. I think I'll stay away from non-dealer parts from now on. It's worth paying the extra price just to get the right thing.

Pros
  • Quality finish
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Perfect Part: Power Door Lock

Worth the money to do it yourself rather than relying on Honda prices. Be sure to buy a $15 impact wrench with the money you save. I have a handyman to replace my missing one and it was a very wise investment. If you want the best uninstall/install tube video, check out Homie Hektor. Also pay attention to my comments as there are a few little pointers that may help you.

Perfect replacement at half the price

The only difficult thing was getting the original. The door was locked, so the seats and door panel had to be removed and all work done from inside the locked door. The original block had to be disassembled before the internal parts of the assembly could be moved to open the door. The bonus was that after replacing the lock on the right passenger door, the tailgate lock worked. Therefore, if both nodes do not work for you, start by replacing the door lock.

If you don't have any automotive knowledge, don't try to install

I have over 30 years experience in the automotive industry and I would say this car was one of the most difficult locks to install. They work great and are so quiet when you lock the doors that you want to double check since you didn't hear them lock. It's been a few months and they're still quiet. Also on this type of car, if you have locks that lock and unlock from time to time while driving, replacing them with them will solve the problem. I recommend to everyone. That's less than 1/5 the…
