Kudos BlendDoor best of the door handles Heater Blend

Kudos BlendDoor I received my order in the mail as described, on time. The gearbox itself compares very cheaply to buying a replacement drive itself, and it is very easy to open up the old drive and swap out the broken gearbox. The hardest part is taking the car apart to get to the actuator itself, my Ford Explorer has two (front and rear) and it took me about four hours to fix it. Any DIYer with tools and good instructions off the internet can make this swap and avoid theft and paying over…

Great idea for a general Ford problem

I have a 2004 Ford Explorer with rear airflow. The front and rear door actuators made a clicking noise and did not regulate the air temperature. Two of those kits fixed a gear in each mixed door operator and saved me over $100. Neither of them are easy to get to, but once that obstacle is removed, it should be easy to get into the drive and change gears. Note that on the 2002-2005 Explorers, the rear air drive that splits airflow between the floor and roof vents uses the same gearing, so this…

Fixed issue not easy to install

the part fixed the issue and works fine. I'm very knowledgeable about cars, but installing it on my 2003 Ford Explorer wasn't easy. The device is located on the driver's side just below the air controls. I had to remove the center console and the cover under the steering wheel. The block if you were sitting in the driver's seat would be at your knee. Once everything is removed, you'll find that the gearbox is behind a fixed part of the dash that you can't remove. There are 3 screws holding it…

It works out. 2003 Ford Expedition

I just fitted this gear to one of the motor drives in the rear AC heater about 20 minutes ago. I swapped out the entire drive last weekend for almost $40 and when I checked it was working fine, but I found that the other top/bottom airflow drive was clicking and not working. When I bought my first drive I took it apart and found broken teeth on the gear it was replacing. But I didn't know and didn't think about simply replacing the gearbox. So after replacing the first actuator and almost…
