Works Strange: Electric Door Lock

parts fit my car. Volkswagen. Golf MKV7 2015 But I know the dashboard is showing an alarm, my doors are open. 15 seconds later the fear will disappear. Every time I start the car. Sometimes these doors don't lock. So work hard but don't miss anything. Many chaperas like the original. But it's not the same.

Matches perfectly, saved lots of $ Easy video online for replacement

Dealer wanted $567 to install this item to keep my doors open and closed through the winter. Did it in 20 minutes in my driveway using a UTOOL Trim Removal Tool Kit, 9 Automotive Panel Removers and a Neiko 10056A XZN Triple Square Head Socket Set, saved a lot of money today and works great.

Perfect fit for 2011 GTI MK6.

I can confirm that it fits 2010-2014 GTI MK6. The part itself is easy to install, but the hardest part is removing the inner door panel to access the door lock actuator. I have a 4 door and the interior trim is one piece while the 2 door GTI has a separate window to access the door lock actuator. However, this part is a direct replacement. Great product, especially for the price.

Problem Fixed: Motors

I had an issue where the driver's side front door only opened a few times. After researching the issue online, it turned out that this part was not working. The part was significantly cheaper than buying from VW and it works perfectly. Can't speak to long-term reliability as I've only had it a few months, but so far it's working great. I highly recommend watching the video on how to do this repair. It wasn't that hard, but there were a few frustrating moments and it was helpful to have a video…

Temporary Fix - Engines

Fits like factory but only lasted a few months. Tried to disassemble and clean the sensors - to no avail. Now I'm going to involuntarily go to a car dealership to buy a freaking expensive half time. When this part failed recently, my doors would not lock, the sensors indicated that the driver's door was open. In this condition, you cannot lock the doors and the alarm will sound while driving. You can take the door apart and disengage the drive, this allows the doors to be locked using the car's
