fits spares

The parts took a while to arrive but they worked as promised. Had to reuse the clip that holds the pop up button on the door.

The door now closes and opens every time.

The part works well, fixed an intermittent blocking problem I was having. It's hidden in the door, so make sure you're comfortable with it.

Start by replacing your new exterior door clip with the original clip to avoid problems

The lock fits and works well with one exception. I strongly recommend that you keep the original exterior door handle clip and use it in place of the clip provided (orange nylon clip shown). I was really struggling to close the new clip around the threaded rod because it has to be closed while it's in the door and even when I had it closed, with use they opened up and I had to redo the install what the real problem is. . Works great but keep the old clip

The lock works great on my 2009 Chevy Malibu. This. The threads on the clamp on this part are much smaller than the OEM part and the clamp will not close.
