No catalog sheet: Tester

No battery as I have read in other reviews. I thought this item would provide a reference voltage so you could compare it to your meter but nothing to render it useless.

Pros
  • Built-in AD584x, highest accuracy and stability.
Cons
  • Exchange Availability

Amazing, inexpensive way to calibrate a cheap multimeter

After spending several months spending money on a reference meter, I discovered this gem. Here I now know that my meter cost is 0.4% lower than the cost of a reference meter or calibration service. How do I know it's safe? Well, google the properties of the chip.

Pros
  • Microcontroller Switch 4 Channel Voltage Reference Output with LED Indicators.
Cons
  • Compatibility

Ideal for DC calibration/verification DVM

The spec for the K part at 10.0V is +/- 10mV but definitely much better than +/- 1mV. Very low long-term drift and temperature stability, therefore ideal for DC applications. Calibration. The body and built-in 500mAh battery make it very convenient. Comparison to AD584LH with "real" calibration certificate ;-) ((- Thx. Jos V. -))

Pros
  • One Knob Voltage Reference Switch.
Cons
  • No guide

Always charged: voltage tester

It does what it intends but due to some issues I wouldn't buy it again. The problem is that the acrylic comes without the protective paper removed from the case. To remove the paper you have to completely disassemble the device, which then shows you how awful it is. After all that, you'll find that by design, the battery will die in a matter of weeks, even if you turn off the switch. I ended up just charging it all the time.

Pros
  • Easy to transport, chargeable with DC 5V, with charging indicator.
Cons
  • I will add later

Very good product. for voltage tester

Arrived earlier than expected. Some of the sides are covered in some kind of ugly cardboard that says ACRYLIC. Once removed, the true beauty of this voltage standard is revealed. It has a USB port. I was expecting some kind of DC connection. However. Works, no instructions! Outrageous. I would appreciate at least a sheet of paper with some drawings on it. Yes, it's not needed, but I'm picky. If you read this page it says no battery included. found inside. Hooray! As soon as you connect the USB…

Pros
  • The transparent housing protects the module from damage and ensures a good view.
Cons
  • Defect
