I bought two of these as my son's soccer pants had belts that didn't work. I knew I had to do something when the coach wrapped gym tape around my son's waist to keep his pants from dropping. :) They were HUGE so you can cut them to the length you want. Fits easily through pants and works great. Can't beat the price.

I like that this belt is thin - thicker belts often have a hard time fitting through football pants vents. This one is 60 inches long, which allows us to trim it to a reasonable length and then use a flame to burn the ends to keep it from unraveling. The clasp is perfect too. This is exactly what we were looking for - a decent woven jogging belt that can be cut to length. Perfect!

Can't tell how they work as belts for football pants but I use them for a plant press (for drying leaves and flowers for decorative purposes) and herbs Rack (used to dry herbs/flowers for culinary purposes). I use two of each to hold the layers together. They work really well - the D ring is secure and the ring itself is solid.
