Does not work with Akai MPK Mini

Product does what it is supposed to; The only reason I am returning the item is that it WILL NOT WORK WITH AKAI MPK MINI. The midi controller requires too much power to even work with GarageBand (iPhone XR iOS 12.3.1). I thought I did enough research not to buy these camera adapters, but I think you really need to use a controller like this. In general it works; but I need something else.

Didn't work what I needed it to do

I don't want to snub this product but it just didn't work the way I intended it to. Maybe I thought this product was different, but I bought it to be able to connect a USB drive to my iPhone to move photos. I have an iPhone11pro and when I plugged in a regular USB drive, a message popped up on my phone saying something along the lines of "not enough power". I don't remember the exact wording. That does not work. Don't buy this!

I bought this item to help me record in GarageBand on my iPad. When I connected my MIDI cable to it, I noticed that it didn't activate my interface, which turns on automatically when an outgoing signal is received. . I've tried several times and found that when I wiggle the USB to Lightning adapter, it wakes up briefly, but only for milliseconds. Nice try - not so good

First of all, I understand that manufacturing defects sometimes happen. This is what the Six Sigma cult teaches us. Anyway, I have really good headphones and a good quality USB DAC. I prefer to listen to my music in the evenings without disturbing anyone when everyone else is watching this reality TV garbage.
