Review on Adapter，MeloAudio Compatible Microphone Interface Keyboard by Mike Bogan

I bought this item to help me record in GarageBand on my iPad. When I connected my MIDI cable to it, I noticed that it didn't activate my interface, which turns on automatically when an outgoing signal is received. . I've tried several times and found that when I wiggle the USB to Lightning adapter, it wakes up briefly, but only for milliseconds. To make sure it wasn't my MIDI cables that went bad, I plugged them directly into my desktop Mac via the USB port and it worked great. Thinking I may have received a faulty item I am returning it for another one. I got my new one today and I'm having the exact same problem. I've tried it on two different iPads and a Lightning port on my Mac and it doesn't work on either of them. Needless to say I am sending this second one back without asking another. I will buy a completely different adapter.
