Not worth the money

This industrial and scientific tool is not worth the investment. As my tests showed the reducing adapter did not fit properly and caused vibrations during use. The only positive is that the customer service was responsive when contacted about the issue. However, the cons outweigh the pros and i would not recommend purchasing this product..

Pros
  • Provides compatibility between different machine components
Cons
  • Requires additional time and cost to purchase and install

The inner cone is not deep enough.

The inner cone of the MT4-MT2 adapter is at least 1/2 inch smaller. This means that the standard length MT2 cone comes out of the ground before it sits in place. The only way to use an adapter is to cut something off the end of your MT2 cone. This will seat it all the way, but then the back of the MT2 cone won't match the slot on the adapter so you can't separate them with a cone mandrel like you should be able to. Save some more money and buy another one.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable
