You get what you pay for.

Update: 09/12/2016 I have completely failed 3 of the 4 drives I bought on 4 different systems. It's only a matter of time before another fails, stay away from those drives! I got some of these for some cheap servers I got man these things suck. I had 2 deaths on me within 4 weeks. When running, they seem to have very serious IOP issues as they struggle to keep up with even minor I/Os. Definitely not what you would expect from an SSD.

Good drive but poor free Acronis software

No product description. Here's what I have. SSD drive, 3.5" to 2.5" adapter and key code to download Acronis True Image HD hard drive cloning software. I could not activate the free downloaded software. Acronis takes you in circles. First with the store. Then the stub activation code that is on the sticker that is on the floppy disk that will be installed. So guess what, you have to open the case and unscrew the screws to get this. Then install the program, get the key. Sent to you via email…

Excellent speeds but rather high power consumption

I got this SSD to replace a slow and old hard drive in my laptop (circa 2008). The SSD improves performance significantly, delivering a whopping 60x/40x 4K random read/writes over the old HDD in my tests (image attached on the product page in the "Customer Images" section). It is much lighter and stronger than an old hard drive, it is shockproof, does not generate noise and vibration unlike a traditional hard drive. I've only had good experiences with ADATA products (RAM, memory cards, flash…

Solid and fast for the money

I bought this SSD for a home server as a boot drive. I run a linux build on it and it boots fast and works great. I have a 256GB SP900 model on my gaming PC and I placed one on the server/physics department computer as the boot/home drive. They load quickly and have worked flawlessly so far. I just cleaned up my gaming PC and it turned out perfect. The 64GB version of the SP 600 is based on the same technology as the SP900, so I expect the same results. The only thing about the ADATA SP series…

Solid State SuperDrive

Fast, functional and reliable. As far as I know you can't go wrong with ADATA drives. I bought this small capacity 120GB drive as an upgrade (I say upgrade specifically) for my old netbook, an ASUS Eee PC for those interested, and I have not been disappointed. Super fast boot time and easy installation - basically plug and play. While your mileage may vary from intended use to installation on your machine, know that this unit is arguably the best investment I've made in a long time. A note for…

Great performance and affordable!

I bought this to refurbish a small Asus 1015PEM laptop I bought from Revain in 2010 (at the birth of my main membership which I still use). It came with Win-7 Starter and 1GB RAM, but I went for the maximum and bought a 2GB RAM stick for it (motherboards dictate the maximum RAM size). When I was recently offered a free upgrade to Win 10, I accepted it. But the update didn't make it faster, and it's already slowed down since I've been using it for 6 years, hell: I'm still using it! After pulling

As usual, the price for that $99 for a 256GB SSD was great.

I just bought this for the OS disc for my new gaming computer. You haven't let me down. I've never used an ADATA SSD and tend to stick with the more expensive brands because I've used them before. The price for that $99 for a 256GB SSD was great, my regular brand would be close to $200. The speed is excellent for both reading and writing. .This is a great ride at a great price. If I had to complain about one thing, this drive adapter is made out of plastic and not metal like other similar…

Beautiful SSD! Internal SSDs

ADATA USA Premier SP600 2.5" 128GB SATA III Synchronous NAND SSD ASP600S3-128GM-C Before we continue, this SSD isn't going to be as fast as say Samsung PRO . In fact, it's not intended for competition. That's common sense. The price is very cheap so you don't get extreme performance. It comes close (if you don't care about the numbers) in load times and is a total steal for a quick performance boost. I bought it for my wife's desktop (we were stranded and needed a cheap boot SSD), then a…

It was nice and fast but already dead to me (EDIT after RMA)

It was nice and fast but already dead to me. Bought May 18th and died June 28th. I received an RMA from ADATA and they made it painless and easy. I got a new SSD and so far it works fine with Windows 10. Keep developing good customer service skills and you will have more customers like me. I love how fast it is and would buy the 128GB version for $10 more or the 256GB version for $40, although it would cost extra money to get a larger drive since SSDs have more reading and recording operations…
