ADCO 2714 Silver Double 40 Diamond Plated Steel Vinyl Propane Tank Cover Review

When this product came in the mail, I wasn't sure it was the right cover. Seemed small. But we stretched it over the two 30 lb tanks, and it's tight, but it fits great! There is a heavy cardboard insert that fits into the top panel of the cover, and it has a flexible strip in the center so I can be inserted easily. I would suggest inserting the cardboard BEFORE putting the cover over the tanks. We didn't, and it was a struggle to get the cardboard into the top.The material is a heavy vinyl and…

I'm happy so far. It was easy to put on my tanks and hasn't come off but it's only been on the highway once. That's my feedback!

We really liked the look of this but after 6 weeks and only 3 trips the plastic tore at the stitching on the top and although mostly works OK it looks messy. Hoping next one won’t rip so easily.

I got this to cover my 30lb propane tank and the battery on the front of my camper as the original plastic cover had become brittle and broken with age. Super easy to install and looks fantastic.

This is a fine product if you have a single canister with NOTHING else attached. Unfortunately for me, the regulator is on the holder (see photo) and prevents this cover from being secured properly. Beware if you have a similar configuration!

Four stars because it is new and not time tested. I have dual 30's and bought the appropriate size, ADCO 2713 Silver Double 30. Simple quick installation. Yes fiber board inserts, but they fit into vinyl pockets inside the cover. Very easy to slip over my tanks. Elastic around the bottom fits snug and allows for storage of trailer plug. Huge improvement over previous hard shell and good price.

I assumed that on the side we cannot see in image, there was open holes for propane hoses to fit though. This cover is designed to only be used when you're not using your propane or on the road. It would need a bungee cord to keep it in place when on the road. It looks nice, but not feasible at all.

When you finally stretch and pull this down over two tanks you realize that there are no adequate entrance ports for the propane hoses, so you have to simply get a knife and cut some holes. The zipper opening is does nothing. Then you have to realize that, if you want to fill one of the tanks, you've got to take the whole thing off; not an easy proposition. I figure I might just cut it off when I get to that point.

Provides good protection. Did not include rigid insert for top so had to cut one from hardboard. Once fitted it looks good and is easy to unzip to access the tanks as needed.

This dual propane tank cover is everything you could ask for in a simple propane tank cover. The cover fits nicely over the tanks and the zipper with access to the propane bottle knobs is handy. For the price, you can't be it.

Surprisingly sturdy. We didn't have room to put hard plastic cover so bought this and on our snowmobile trailer went across 4 states in bad road conditions and looks like new afterwards.

Purchased this product before. This type of product is either cheaply priced or very expensive for a quality product if you can find it. Air Stream Rv's have an excellent product but they are very costly

Cover is well made and sturdy. Hope it last a couple years. Very snug fit, so I let cover lay out in Sun for a while and it slipped on easily. The provided top insert is very cheap and probably won't last. I used it as a pattern to cut one from plywood.
