Decorative, not functional.

Looks good. Sticks badly. Use regular sealer for real protection. I wouldn't trust the water to stay out for a long time.

The security band accidentally comes off when you try to remove it to use the band.

Protective tape did not come off in one piece. When it came loose and I stuck the tape, the spots didn't stick. After removing and inspecting, I saw that a strip of clear material had come loose from the white backing. This clear material covered the adhesive on the tape so it didn't stick to those spots. I had to find this almost invisible material with a very sticky adhesive and try to remove it. I ended up uninstalling it and using the product. In hindsight, I would choose a different…

Did what I had to do.

Did what I had to do. The only thing is that they were off-white and not the usual glossy white you usually see. It's like washing a white shirt with colored clothes.
