We prepared the walls according to the instructions and these hooks had to be on the floor within the 24 hours we had to wait to hang anything. The wall is smooth with very little texture and they don't stick. Very disappointed. They look good and are a good weight but the glue was bad.

Got these B/C, they said they were heavy duty (can hold up to 16lbs). The hook itself seemed very strong to me. I followed the surface cleaning/drying instructions. I also waited 12 hours before hanging anything on the hook. I used a hook to hang my shower stall. This went on for several days, then I woke up around 3am with a loud crash. I think these hooks are good for lighter items. But don't try to shower it.
