When you need a solid plan B

Once adjusted and placed on the breech, the handle is no longer than the width of your hand that you are holding the wrench. This little guy allowed me to get into really tight spots when servicing multi-brand equipment with SAE and metric mounts, so preparing for unexpected sizes was less of a hassle. The worm wheel has minimal backlash and will not rotate by itself without undue friction. Overall great product.

Pros
  • Precision-machined jaws are individually selected and hand-assembled for trouble-free operation
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Nearly perfect. It opens until 5/8. Was hoping for more.

Quality where it should be. Not too much worm gear/adjuster play; Better than most. Doesn't open during use which is what I'm looking for the most. Next is the jaw capacity. It only goes up to 5/8”. And maybe wider. I found a 4" paramount that can open 3/4". I was hoping this would be. If so I would give 5 stars and that would be perfect. I also found a prototype with a slightly larger head but still 4 inches long and opening to 11/16. I'm not sure about the quality of the metal on the…

Best 4 " Adjustable Wrench on the market

This Klein 4" adjustable wrench works great right out of the box. The knurling rotates and the jaw slides without sagging, making it comfortable for one hand. The handle is submerged in water and the rubber appears to be glued to the metal to keep it from slipping. The wrench is good, meaning the pin holding the knurling in place is threaded and can be removed with a flat head screwdriver. For comparison, my 4" Crescent Adjustable Wrench would not adjust with one hand due to the constantly…

Three 4 " adjustable wrenches

I bought 3 different adjustable 4" wrenches (nominal) to compare: Klein D506-4, Channellock 804 and Bahco 8069 RC UNITED STATES. I will review them together. Another customer's earlier review on 8" keys may be of interest https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R1VXP5HDPQ5FER. All three keys are made in Spain and are all longer than 4 inches (4.3 for Bahco, 4.5 for Channellock and Klein). And despite various information on their packaging and Revain offerings, they all open before the 16. )…
