The product itself is well made and durable. However for my fur baby it didn't work the way we wanted it to. The cone was too long for my cats head so she had a hard time drinking water and eating her food. We were constantly taking the cone on and off so she wouldn't starve or get dehydrated. The cone worked for it's purpose of protecting her ear while it healed after she scratched it open. All other cones we used she scratched through them but with this cone she couldn't. Material is great and it’s lightweight. The material isn’t clear tho, so my kitten was missing steps, falling backwards, misjudging distance. Took it off of her so she didn’t hurt herself. Had to put the clear vet given cone back on her.

Recently rescued a 5mo 7lb boy. Took him for his first vet visits and he constantly fought the hard plastic one provided from the doctor. Bought this as an alternative and hasn’t tried to take it off since! Plastic does scratch, but that doesn’t seem to bother him. The plastic sticker does crumble if trying to remove it.

Thank you for offering a great product for a nice price. They worked great on our cats! The Velcro is easy to use and makes it more comfortable for the cats. The product holds up great over many weeks.

I ordered this for my cat to deter constant scratching and then for when he was neutered to keep him from licking the site.Functionally, it’s great. Strong Velcro, adjusts small enough to fit him. he would never get it off.No fault of the item, but when wearing it, he’d scoop up stuff from the litter box then go running around the house! Ugh, gross. I wound up finding a more flexible one made by Kong that made both our lives a little less stressful!

my cat had to wear one after getting spayed. she hated it and fought it to exhaustion but could not get it off. my only complaint is the size was a lil bigger than it claims.

I purchased this for my six month old cat for her spay (size small), and it has been great! She cannot get it off and she doesn’t seem to be bothered by it either. I would highly suggest measuring your cat and purchasing before any kind of procedure to make sure it fits and that your cat cannot get it off. Since this cone is made with fabric and velcro it can get dirty with food and cat litter if your cat is a little clumsy after a procedure, but it’s very easy to clean. I highly recommend this

My cat had a wound closer to the shoulder. It's location around the neck did not prevent the cat from scratching and making the tiny injury more than 2 inches and scratching below the hair and damaging below the skin. This product would probably be better used in s different situation.

Less expensive than the vet charged for the cone of shame. Cat is all good post surgery. Recommend to have on hand as a pet owner.

Pros: Easy to use, lightweight, my cat has not been able to remove it.Cons: The stickers on it were next to impossible to remove, the little neck padding started falling off 2 weeks after I got it.

This cone stayed on the cat well and was easily customized for his size. One point off because it is translucent and the cat couldn't see enough to navigate in some cases, for instance, going down stairs, finding the food dish, etc. Overall it was a good product - recommended.

I bought this for my small Shihtzu. I rated a 3 for comfort because let's be honest, I know she isn't comfortable in it, who would be? But she needed it and it helped her paw heal. It is light weight and super easy to clean. The adjustable neck is a plus!
