The lids on my glass bowls are cracked and no longer close properly. I was planning to buy the same replacement caps until I saw this product. Silicone lids are great for all bowl sizes. They prevent food odors from getting into the fridge. If the rim of the bowl is wet or the silicone is wet, the lid will not stay in place. This is easily fixed by quickly rubbing the edges.

I hate having a bunch of little leftover containers because I have to wash the dishes twice. Now I can use this item to cover plates and small bowls and worry, if not, I'm worried my fridge will stink. I love that it comes in different sizes and fits most things I have. it's clean, you know. But I hope I'm wrong, because it's a good topic.

Love how they stretch. The lids are round, but they fit square containers, watermelons, whatever. that's a good sentence. However, you should put them in the dishwasher upon receipt as they smell like silicone when you just take them out of the packaging. . I didn't want to deduct a star for this as I think the smell is to be expected and easy to remove but it's good to know that you need to wash them before you can use them.

Love the idea of these reusable lids. If you have dry hands as well as the lid and container, it turns on immediately and stays on. When something is wet, it slides off. Very easy to hand wash. I have never tried a dishwasher or microwave. Try putting one of the big ones on a bread pan. Jumping out at night, I tried again, pointing my finger directly at one of the lines of concentric circles. Aggravating. I have others in the set and will continue to use them until the inevitable.

I've been a little slow testing them on different types of containers but so far they work very well. The smallest pieces are good for canned cat food, the larger ones are good for several different bowls and I love using them in place of cling film.
