I wish I could give a better rating

Knives feel good and look good. Unfortunately, after only a month and a half, they discolored and tore. The shell still works like a charm. I wish the knives were of the same quality. I have other ceramic knives that have never done this.

  • Great product
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

A little pricey but works pretty well

It's a little "cheap" especially the handles, but at less than twenty dollars it's a great value. Everyone else was talking about how super spicy they are, but I was let down by their sharpness when I got them. I have the equipment to sharpen ceramic knives and after doing that they are definitely sharp now. I love ceramic knives and I have a nice collection and I wanted to gift them to someone who just bought a new house. As a first ceramic set, they will definitely do her good. The sharpener…

Light and sharp

These knives are decent. They're not expensive, so don't expect them to feel premium when you hold them in your hands. However, these knives are quite sharp and work well. They come with protective sleeves to prevent them from chipping during storage. After all, they're ceramic, and that's one of the downsides of ceramic. You can tear. They are a lot lighter than I expected. I prefer my blades to be light, so this was new to me. I think it would be good for some people maybe if they have…

You look minimalist.

Aesthetically this set resembles what you can find at a dollar store but the ceramic blades are sharpened to a high level of sharpness. Not necessarily sharper than any stainless steel or carbon steel blades I've had, but we'll see how long these knives stay sharp. They're surprisingly light, which is also a bit off-putting, although I'll admit the paring knife is exceedingly comfortable to use. I suspect that when preparing a large number of items, the lack of weight can be a disadvantage in…

Razor sharp, good grip

I really like them. I love my stainless steel chef's knife, but I often use it instead when chopping veggies like tomatoes, zucchini, zucchini - anything that's easy to cut but can have a skin that's difficult to penetrate. I also use them to divide chicken breasts into 2 thinner fillets or to make chicken fingers or breast nuggets - they are GREAT for slicing chicken. They are razor sharp. They also have a very comfortable grip. There are small ridges to help you hold them in place when they…

A good price for ceramic knives

I've been using ceramic knives for many years and I don't think I'll buy a steel chef's knife again. Ceramic knives are very sharp (and stay sharp!), they are very light and easy to clean. However, there are some disadvantages. And that's one of the reasons I liked this set. They will definitely break your ceramic knives. It can't be tomorrow. It cannot be for several years. But it will happen. One day you might notice a tiny chip that wasn't there before. or you can throw one right on the…

Pros
  • clear even the old ones
Cons
  • A bit wrinkled

A few years ago I gave a friend a ceramic knife and warned her that it was sharp and should be handled with care. She didn't listen and later showed me a bandaged finger on which she made a good cut. Some people use relatively safe plastic lettuce cutting blades on lettuce that don't tend to brown the lettuce like steel does. Ceramic also does not cause darkening, but it is not entirely harmless. I think the sharpness is on par with some of the sharpest chef's knives and it doesn't dull easily.

Superb ceramic knives

I have a lot of very good quality knives in my kitchen and over time I'm turning more and more to these ceramic knives. They never need to be sharpened, are dishwasher safe and stay sharp much longer than most steel knives. And since a top quality ceramic knife is a lot cheaper than a fancy metal knife, it's not a big problem to simply replace a ceramic knife when it becomes dull. This set contains four knives ranging from a small paring knife to a 6 inch paring knife. chef's knife. Like all…
