Stick grip was easy to put on, I used a heat gun but a hair dryer would work in a pinch. I like the stick grip, if I buy this again I will put tape first and then this grip. I bought this to protect my gloved hands from the pilling that comes with adhesive strips. I am not sure if I will buy again.

No bar handle, I can only imagine what would happen with a glove. It's nothing more than a large piece of shrink tubing used for wiring that you heat and shrink to fit your stick. Boiling water, heat gun, or whatever heating element you choose will work well. I've used my heat gun and it compresses well but doesn't feel like a grip or real tape.

It's not useless because the rubber ring for the grip is great to use under the rubber band at the top of the stick, but the whole thing isn't worth half of what it's worth was. , if any. In this "grip" there is no hold. After about 2 minutes on the ice it got so slippery I could barely hold the stick. I sprayed it with glue spray for the second skate and it didn't help enough to make a difference. Spend $8-10 more and get this as it gives you more value for the price…
