Perfect fit and protection

The case is no bigger than it should be. Enough space for most commonly used probe test leads and a 4000-count AstroAI meter. The meter's selector switch and function keys can be easily used when the meter is mounted in the case. The hard case and durable coating should offer more than enough protection for my home use. The clasp is strong too.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Little things

Well made quality case

Large case; The multimeter and cables fit snugly in the case. The case is very rigid but somewhat flexible. The zipper is strong, the stitching is generally good. There were no visible flaws; not even color variations. There weren't even any stray or uncut threads from the manufacturing process. Apparently the manufacturer takes quality assurance seriously.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Only available in black

Decent, but wish it was a bit bigger to accommodate more probes.

case is ok. I wish it was bigger to accommodate more probes. If you purchase the Revain recommended "Recommended Probe Accessory" kit, the case will not fit any additional probes plus the (2) probes provided with the multimeter. Concerned that extra items may damage the multimeter screen. I will look for another. I can use this case for another instrument.

  • price
Cons
  • some problems

There could be more... the best of the testers

I was hoping there would be more space in my suitcase. Using tweezers on the lead side, I had to turn the tester face down and upside down. If you want to connect cables to the meter, I do not recommend this case. I will not return it. But not very happy with that. Although it includes a counter, that's what I wanted. I have a separate box for the rest of the leads. The box my iPhone came in is perfect for them.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

Almost matches Brymen 869s multimeter

I like the sturdiness, build quality and the red zipper. The inner compartment is large enough for my new DMM Brymen 869s, but isn't it deep enough to accommodate the cables without having to force the lid shut before zipping it up? So I can't complain about the build quality, but it's not the optimal size for my Brymen 869s DMM AND cable.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Matches

Great product that fits both ways!

It looks like it is made of very durable plastic. The magnetic clip is more than enough to hold the meter's light weight and it does a lot more than I need it to. I was wondering if the Fluke was worth triple the price but I just couldn't justify the price. If I were an engineer designing precision electrical systems, Fluke would be a solid maybe. The Astro looks great and I bought a hard case to protect it, although it looks like it could take some pretty heavy hits. HIGHly recommended for…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Piggy bank Price

Definitely good enough to get the job done, so quality like that.

I prefer to keep my good tools in cases, to the point where some of my cable testers are in $40 guerrilla-proof cases with phone cubes inside, like photo booths but more durable. This isn't the case, although it's advertised as a hard case, this simply means it's stiffer than a cloth case. That doesn't mean it's non-functional, but you can't put anything heavy on it. I was just a little disappointed with the depth of the interior after installing the gauge so the wires could be wired. place on…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled
