Description of πŸ“‘ Aideepen ESP8266 Serial Wi-Fi Wireless ESP-01 Adapter Module 3.3V 5V Compatible for Arduino - Enhanced SEO-Boosting Version

A adapter module for ESP-01 Wi-Fi module. 3.3V voltage regulator circuit and onboard level conversion circuit can make 5V microcontroller easy to use with ESP-01 Wi-Fi module. Also, the item can be used with Arduino UNO R3 or compatible board. Working voltage: 4.5~5.5V (On-board 3.3V LDO Regulator). Interface logic voltage: 3.3V / 5V compatible(On-board level shift circuit).

Works as described. Handy for prototyping.

Works as described. Frees up space on your breadboard with an integrated regulator, logic level switch and connector. Note, however, that you do not have access to the ESP module's GPIO pins. This means you cannot reset the ESP or flash it with new firmware with this adapter.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Quality

did not work for computers and accessories

I've found that the only way to get it working is to hold IOpin0 low at power up and then release it. I can program it like this. Not too happy with soldering the switch to IO0 and GND. I see that others have had good success. Maybe I have a bad one.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

where is the button

Works, but only modified. To upload firmware to ESP-01 you need to short 2 pins when connecting. I soldered the SPST button onto a small circuit board and added adapters to connect it to the ESP-01.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not as thick as other pickaxes

I also like the fact that it specifies where alignment.

does exactly what it should. I also like the fact that it shows the ESP-01's direction of travel. What I'm missing is the lack of connectivity to GP0, GP1 and RST.

Pros
  • great for me
Cons
  • functionality

Only outputs 4 out of 8 pins

You need to ground the GPIO0 pin in order to program the ESP8622. This adapter only connects 4 of the 8 pins of the module, so you need to solder an extra wire to this module to make the ESP8622 work in download mode. You should have GPIO0 or all 8 pins pinned instead of 4. Once you've finished the design, you should be fine.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Something is wrong

This wonderful adapter simplifies the hardware needed to connect ESP8266 ESP-01 with Arduino UNO or Arduino Mega and maybe use others. Simply connect the ESP-01 chip to this adapter and then connect the adapter to your breadboard. Connect the 5V VCC, GND, RX, and TX wires from the Arduino. This little adapter takes care of all the 5V and 3.3V conversions needed between Arduino and ESP-01 as they connect to the VCC, RX and TX wires! On the Arduino Uno, I connected the adapter's TX pin to the…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • For a long time
