Cable ties can be painful to handle, plastic or steel. In addition to damaging fingers, strain is always a problem. I have a chicken coop that uses plastic ties to attach the fence to the posts. I don't know how long stainless steel ties have been around, but I found it very interesting. The tool feels premium and heavy. Trouble is, I don't see the point when the tool can barely beat hands and scissors. When you squeeze the handle to tighten the zip tie, everything feels very tight, but when you let go of the handle, the game returns.
