So far it works like Noisy Champ!

I installed this fantastic looking inverter in my truck using six 125 amp hour class 31 AGM2 marine batteries. This inverter replaces a modified Aims Power PWINV500012W 5000W sine wave inverter. This new device has a sophisticated multi-mode charger to protect my batteries from overcharging. It can also turn on my gas generator when the battery gets too low. The generator power in turn causes the inverter to go into charging mode. However, with only 2-wire control, it can't turn off my 3-wire…

Pros
  • APPLICATIONS: Ideal for applications that automatically switch between shore/generator and inverter, off-grid and standby. Homes, boats, SUVs, solar panels, mobile businesses, and work trucks. Industrial.
Cons
  • Great Price

Excellent low frequency pure sine wave inverter.

Last year, with no experience in this area, I bought a modified 3500w Power Bright Sine Wave Inverter to convert my RV from a generator to a solar powered battery. The Power Bright was a good unit for the price but performance varied with battery voltage up to 88 volts. The Power Bright unit also didn't work well with my microwave. I have come to the conclusion that I need a pure sine wave inverter. I have found that there are two types of pure sine wave inverters. Cheaper smaller tweeters…

Pros
  • POWER: 4000W continuous, 12000W pulsed for 20 seconds, 33A, 120VAC pure sine wave, low frequency, auto switching and 115A smart charger for 8 different battery technologies including lead, gel, AGM, LiFePO4 and others.

Almost everything in starters, chargers and portable power supplies

Bought this unit to install in my Class A RV which currently does not have an inverter. It took quite a bit of engineering to get it right, and there were some rough edges and some good points. The first thing to understand is that many RVs are not rated for 240 volts. The generators on many of these devices are 120 volts, and there is a switch that actually sends 240 outlets to the control panel. This created some difficulties in setting up the charging circuit as the 120 volt alternator…

Pros
  • PROTECTION: Overload, Overheat, High Voltage, Low Voltage, Short Circuit, Internal Fuse, Low and High Voltage Alarms, Cooling Fan and Isolated Ground Neutral.
Cons
  • Doubtful
