We bought this for our son's room. His bedroom is above our garage and is always the coldest room in the house. Thanks to this, his room is now the warmest in the house, it doesn't make any noise, it doesn't smell and it keeps his room nice and warm. Not too warm, not too hot. I just bought another one for our family room.

I will continue this review after the winter but for now it is amazing and I like the heating performance and the slim design. I hardly notice it's there. We use it on an old concrete wall (old house) in our bedroom that abuts a slope that causes moisture buildup and therefore mold every winter. We are having our first cold days here in Washington and the wall heater keeps our room warm and cozy. Installation took about 20 minutes if you had the right tools on hand.

I bought this heater to supplement the heat in the back room of my 3 bedroom apartment as the only other source of heat is up front where you first enter. It helps in the back room if the door stays shut, but I didn't realize there was no thermostat or timer on the heater. It would be nice to maybe heat up the bathroom before bathing, but not as an addition to a room that really needs to be heated. Also, it gets hot, which scares me a little.

Update: This company contacted me and considered providing a protective cover. I like the one I installed in my kitchen. I had to turn it off because the temperature outside was getting warmer and we were starting to warm up. It will definitely keep us warm when temperatures drop again. Haven't installed it in the house yet as I've heard you must "burn" the first smell when you receive it. It's just an on and off device and heats up to 200 degrees on the surface. It also heats up on the back, which over time can damage your wall and potentially start a fire. This device is NOT UL listed but is ETL stamped.
