Doesn't matter. for shock absorbers, struts and suspension

Installed them in my 2011 Dodge 3500 DRW pickup and they had a HUGE effect on powered driving. We tow a three wheel gooseneck trailer and although the truck had plenty of power I was always concerned about how much the suspension compresses when loaded. Now I set the pressure to 65lbs, the ride is much better, the headlights are aligned properly and the whole ride is more stable. Installation was easy, start to finish in half a day, including an automatic compressor. Very satisfied!

Great product in spares

I bought a 5000 airlift for my 2012 Dodge Ram 3500. I wanted some stability when towing my RV. The installation was uncomplicated. I will say the brass air fitting is pressed in at the top. It is imperative that you follow the quick attach installation instructions, do not overtighten, and do not add teflon tape, at least initially. I followed the instructions and there was a slow leak in an airbag which turned out to be a brass press fitting. I called Airlift about 3 weeks after purchase and…

So far so good - shocks, struts and suspension

Installation was easy if you followed the instructions which literally step by step and simplify the process. I put the oil in 60psi bags as recommended for a 10 mile ride. It was a tough, tiring ride. After 10 miles I lowered the air to 20psi. Another sweeping ride. Next I will try 10psi. The manual states that the bags must not be started empty and the pressure must be at least 5psi. No leaks yet, everything works as it should. Cons: When the package arrived it was in its original packaging…

Eventually I will upgrade mine to air fittings

I bought a couple of these air jacks a year ago and they have been in use in my RAM 3500 ever since. I added their wireless air compressor/control system this spring and so far the bags and air system have worked very well together. I pull a camper in a Lance truck; At 85 psi, the truck is quiet and the ride is good. My only nits are the snap-on 90 degree air fittings that come with the bags - my right hand bag tends to leak where the line enters the fitting. Today I finally replaced the line…

Great product for important work

On my 2507 Dodge 2500 I needed something to smooth out the bounce of my 7.5 mile fifth wheel. These "air springs" did it. Previous reviews I've read said to add air when you get bounce. I was at 50psi, still had rebound, I was going to 60, 70, 80 and still had rebound. Added air up to 90psi and wow the bounce was gone and the powered ride settled down instantly! I was amazed at how well these airbags improved the ride. I didn't add a compressor initially, but I found it difficult to get the…

Great bags without which there will never be a truck again.

I bought an air lifter because I wanted to safely tow my large fifth wheel with my Ram 2500 4x4 Turbo Diesel. These bags come in spades! I read the reviews and was concerned about the quality of the mounts and air vents on top of the bags. I don't have to worry, apparently Airlift can also read and solves these problems. Easy installation, quality product. I just drove 5,000 miles from Texas to Washington on I-10 and I-5 on I-101 and am very happy with my car's handling or landing. I spent £75…

Air transport may make installation a bit difficult.

In general, things of fairly good quality. However, the axle rod mounts didn't fit as well as I thought they should. I wasn't able to move the brackets far enough for the airbags to line up perfectly top to bottom. Close but the cost would be better if they matched better. Eventually I will remove them and change the bindings to align them. They are good for leveling a heavy truck and make that 10 push ride a little easier when my Dodge 03 Ram 3500 is empty. Excellent! Our first real test of…

GOOD KIT, but be prepared to spend a few extra bucks to get it "right ".

I have a 2012 Cummins Ram 2500 with Mega Cab, I'm towing a 36 foot trailer that weighs about 1200 pounds and I need a little extra boost. I first bought a set of Airmaxxx bags (kit) from a seller on ebay. 17 hours, 40 miles of searching for various 'parts', 2 mechanics and 1 '40 year old hitch installer' and the Airmaxxx kit has NOT been on my truck YET! Suffice it to say that the Airmaxx just isn't very well constructed. That's why I came to Revain and bought this set. It was completely…
