No noticeable increase in performance

Unfortunately, after an application that was not so easy to install, I couldn't notice any improvement in mileage or performance. I mean it's cool to say you have a throttle body gasket but to be honest it didn't improve performance. I've noticed that I can now hear my air filter sucking in more air, but that's about it.

Pros
  • GOLS-certified
Cons
  • A few small things

He might do something, but you don't notice.

I only installed this after seeing Dyno where they used it with KN CAI and seeing a few more points on the sheet. After a three-hour drive with it, the whistle gets annoying when you drive without the radio. Other brands make spacers that DO NOT whistle. I would check them first.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some difficulties

I LOVE IT! - Fuel Injection

I have a 2011 Silverado 1500 LT 5.3L. I put a cold air intake on my Specter a year ago and noticed an increase in performance. This Air Shield Throttle Body Gasket has taken it to the next level. Faster throttle response, better throttle mileage (if you don't have a lead foot) and a sharp (almost turbo) whistle from 2250-5000 rpm. Very happy with this product and great customer service.

Taylor Spacer is better

I bought both Airaid Spacer and Taylor Cable Helix Power Spacer as I am a mechanical engineer and wanted to study and compare both spacers in my hands prior to installation to choose the best product. I have a 2009 Cadillac Escalade with a 6.2L LS engine (400hp stock) and already have the following items installed: - DiabloSport I3 computer tuner - K&N cold air intake, plastic tubing option - Powersports E3 high output spark plugs - Edelbrock 8.5mm spark. connector wires. Placing both pads…

Don't listen to those backyard mechanics

People here say they don't work, they're idiots, coupled with cold air, and the exhaust is the perfect match. Remember it's not turbo, your engines are factory limited on emissions it just lets in a bit more air which engines love so you get a bit more loop response. Don't listen to all those backyard mechanic assholes. Also, I like the whistle, it's just air flowing over the ridges.

Pros
  • Fuel Injection
Cons
  • Nothing fits

Difficult to say as I combined several products, but . . .

The increase in performance is clearly noticeable. The sound at 4000 rpm is amazing. Add a K&N cold air intake, an Air Raid throttle body gasket and an available pre-programmed chip. Dinosaur shows a combined gain of 39 hp. for my Chevy Silverado 6.2 at 4500-5000 rpm at 52 F. Not that it makes all three promises, but I'll take it for about $600. Cheaper than a Super Charger (about 1/5 the cost) or a Full Duel exhaust with a high-flow coil (about 1/4 the cost). Pay attention to the total value…

Stamped on wrong side of spacer - wrong mark for installation

Product worked great when installed correctly. I would have given five stars without the installation instructions. Only disassembly and assembly, which is not difficult. This part can be installed backwards and the part I received was stamped TBC (throttle body side) on the wrong side of the spacer. I was just mechanically inclined and things didn't look right. So I called them and asked which way the cone should go. (to the motor) I complained about 2 pages of instructions and NONE on how to…
