but it certainly added some power to the 230,000-mile engine.

2004 Wrangler 4.0. I'm not sure about the increase in fuel consumption per gallon, but it certainly added some power to the 230,000-mile engine. I wish I had bought this item a few years ago.

I did a full airflow update, headers, full .

I've done a full airflow, manifold, full exhaust, secondary intake, 62mm throttle body upgrade on my 99 Tj 4.0, can't give details but I can say I forgot the system air pressure . and read your forums

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Scarce manual

Very nice detail

Very nice detail. Outstanding craftsmanship. Fits perfectly. The age-old debate about whether that helps? Installed in many cars. Each time it was either with a cold air intake. Or, like this time, a new Tsai and a new throttle body. The only drawback was the supplied hex head screws. Will not fit my new throttle body. I had to buy hex bolts.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Useless functions

I installed it as soon as I received it.

I installed it as soon as I got it, have driven my 2000 Jeep Wrangler, I can say I've noticed a difference but while I'm waiting for the air system to be fitted as well as a new exhaust system, I hope this will help my 4.0 a bit, I'm used to powering my other cars, I can say one thing I don't have to use any of the spacers that come with it, so 'I'm checking to see if I've done anything wrong but my jeep running k

Electricity and gas in the fuel system

When I first installed this I didn't see any increase in MPG. Indeed saw a decline! I wasn't very excited so I called AIRAID. They told me that after about 2 fills in the gas tank, the computer in my Jeep WJ would make the necessary adjustments to see the difference the gasket was making. You were right. somehow. It took 3 tanks and I restarted my computer by disconnecting the battery negative a couple of times, which I did because I was installing the radio and a few other things. Regardless…

Can't hurt!: Fuel Injection

I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 4.0 liter engine. I installed a throttle body gasket along with the piston/cold air intake and my stock throttle body was machined to 62mm. was one of my first engine upgrades and to be honest when I did it without the exhaust the truck had crisper throttle response but I didn't have low torque, I mean I couldn't even get up a decent hill without bumping into it . and I was still crawling, I had too much air in the tailpipe and not enough air out of the…

  • Quality construction
