I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 4.0 liter engine. I installed a throttle body gasket along with the piston/cold air intake and my stock throttle body was machined to 62mm. was one of my first engine upgrades and to be honest when I did it without the exhaust the truck had crisper throttle response but I didn't have low torque, I mean I couldn't even get up a decent hill without bumping into it . and I was still crawling, I had too much air in the tailpipe and not enough air out of the tailpipe after I upgraded the exhaust with a 2" and 1/2" pipe, a Cat MagnaFlow pressure free converter and a Flowmaster Super 44 muffler had, the difference was night and day! On my way to building a stroker I also made a ton of other modifications such as injectors, high flow water and fuel pumps, shafts, tappets, tappet and timing chain, tuner chip, fuel pressure regulator and more! In my opinion. Take it! It doesn't hurt, and if you have plans for future mods this will work fine with everything else! Hope that helps!
