Having trouble with a 2004 Chevy Siverado 2500 6.0L

I don't know if it affected my truck much but I knew it from the start. The only major issue was that the bolts that came with the kit were too long for my throttle body and broke inside the throttle body. It was a $$ pain to fix! My truck is a Chevy Silverado 2500 with a 6.0 liter engine so be careful when tightening them.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not the best

Good value for money injection system

Installation takes approximately 30 minutes with minimal disassembly. I noticed slightly more low-end power and a consistent 0.5mpg increase in mileage. It made no noise until I switched from worn 245/16 tires and rims to 265/17 tires and rims. Now I hear a low whistle all the time. I noticed a bigger performance boost when I installed the same type on my Tundra 02.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Some defects

Put it on the Suburban, I had one on the .

Installed on a Suburban, I used to have one on an Impala. I didn't expect any change in mileage, and of course there wasn't. There was a slight increase in performance in the low and midrange that I was looking for. Four stars because they always advertise improved fuel efficiency and again that hasn't changed anything. Setup was a little frustrating, but that was because I was working in low light and cramped conditions.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • No automatic

The spacer itself is well made. However, the upholstery was cut stingy and lazy. I hear a whistling noise that's a bit annoying. I knew from research that the price of this product probably doesn't justify its benefits, so I can't really complain about that now, but they make incredible returns for what they are. However, now it sits behind the throttle body, looks nice and can't hurt performance, although it doesn't help much.

Pros
  • Nice appearance
Cons
  • Upgradable

Always a great upgrade. DO THAT.

Very happy with the throttle body spacer for my truck. I bought an Airaid product to use on each of my vehicles and have recommended it to others. As I am crazy about cars (especially trucks) I will definitely buy many more vehicles from them over the years. Combined with the cold air intake, this definitely helps your engine breathe better and gives you better throttle response, which is the most enjoyable part. Seems insignificant, but when you're stepping on the gas on a 2500 HD pickup, a…

Easy installation on spares

I looked at them for a while and decided to give it a try. Installation took about 1 hour with basic tools. The step-by-step instructions included in the package are clear and easy to follow. After 15 years and 190,000 miles on my 2001 GMC Sierra with a 5.3 liter engine, I also decided to replace the throttle body gasket. The cost was less than $5. Most reviews say you don't have to, and I agree, but it's better to be safe than sorry. I highly recommend that you also get a can of carburetor…

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • May damage

good addition good for the fuel system

I bought this air assist product for my 2004 GMC Sierra 5.3. I only had minor installation problems. The instructions provided worked well considering I am familiar with most of the under the hood components. It was a little difficult to get the gasket to align and stay in place. I strongly recommend you install it on a cold engine. In my situation it was warm/hot, I had very few other options. My car also has an aftermarket K&N cold air intake. An issue was discovered while reinstalling the…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent

This is amazing stuff!

So I ordered it this morning, chose local delivery the same day, received and installed it in about 5 hours. It's a really easy install if you take your time and work slowly. Now some information about my truck. This is a 1999 Extended Cab Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with a 5.3 liter engine. The truck has done 200,000 miles and has understandably become a bit sluggish (tired old engine). After the installation was complete, I took it for a test drive. And let me tell you. I was a little skeptical…

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones

  • Some little things
