They do the job but are a little small for the wheel arches. It would be nice if they were somehow integrated into the main mattress for inflation and deflation. I'm glad they were offered as an add-on, but wish they only came with a mattress to begin with.

I bought this for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day and we already had the bed I bought him for Christmas. We use this bed for every hike. The inserts fit perfectly. The only issue we had was that the bed was holding air which caused the inserts to fall out. My wish or suggestion would be that the attachment point of the inserts is always stronger. We love this bed and the fact that you can't just use it in the back of a truck. I would recommend this product to a friend.

Even though the advert says 'one size fits all AirBedz', that is not true. I have a green model (blue inserts). They "fit" in the wheel well, but the velcro doesn't line up so they won't stay put if you roll onto that part of the bed. They pop out and the page collapses. I'm supposed to find velcro at the local hardware store and see how the jury puts it together. Otherwise they work fine :)

We bought an AirBedz for a long trip and bought these wheel inserts to support the bed in a tent when we use it. After about 20 uses over a 6 month trip, the plastic piece you blow on to inflate has separated from the fabric. It is clear that the air would then not hold. After a few uses, another did the same. I contacted the manufacturer and sent them this picture and explanation but they never responded. Don't buy, save on side dishes. Although we love the bed.

Last year we used our truck tent in our pickup truck bed but this year we used our regular tent because we have a baby. Since we already have an air mattress, we decided to buy inserts for the wheel arches. They are easy to inflate, which is a plus, and attach to the main body of the mattress with Velcro. In the morning we found that both inserts had separated from the main body of the mattress, rendering them virtually unusable. A better velcro or other way to attach them to the mattress so…

These have turned out to be useless. They stay in place with no weight on the mattress. Tried different air levels, nothing helped. The mattress itself is great and they are great pillows on their own, but as they are supposed to fill a gap in the wheel well when the mattress is used on the floor they totally fail in that and are a worthless wad of money. We even tried putting rope around the mattress to hold it up but couldn't get everything together to hold it together comfortably and felt…
