A simple test and a quick spin!

This radon test includes regular mail to the lab, which I like. Production time was within a week of shipping. Turnaround time for the competitor's radon test is just over a week from receipt of test if there is no rush and shipping is not included (an additional $3.50). This test takes an extra day at home, 3 days instead of 2, but I didn't care. The result seemed reliable. If you need to do multiple radon tests, this is one way to avoid going broke.

Pros
  • pH test strips
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Don't waste your time and money on this.

This kit looked good and was economical so I decided to give it a try. Taking the test isn't difficult, but you need to find a place to hang it from the ceiling. The problem is with the instructions and how to send the test back to the lab. I read the reviews and decided to pay for faster shipping back to the lab. I then found out that my test was rejected due to the way I had closed the kit. Here are instructions on how to close the package. 3> Seal the kit to ensure no radon leakage. 4>

Pros
  • Laboratory and Scientific Products
Cons
  • High Price

Radon is serious! Test your home! Airchek is an easy to use kit.

This set is very easy to use. Read the instructions carefully and you will have no trouble getting clear and accurate readings. The test worked well for me and the company emailed the results very quickly. My test registered 2, which is below 4, which is considered a danger zone. I learned a lot of valuable information. There are seasonal differences in radon exposure. In winter, with the windows closed, the concentration is higher. In the summer it will be less. The long-term average is…
