Great fuel system replacement

I bought this in my pick up fuel tank before going on a road trip. That way, if I have any problems while I'm away, I can replace the fuel pump and strainer roadside if needed.

Pros
  • Advanced polymers, brushes and distributors for long life and durability in various fuel blends
Cons
  • Boring package

Works great for Airtex FS22 fuel filter on my Suburban -96

Works great on my Suburban K1500 5.7L -96. There were big problems with the cold start. After replacing it with a new fuel pump and filter (Airtex FS22), the cold start was just a fairy tale. Big change. Seems to be good quality at a reasonable price. Bad installation instructions.

Pros
  • Lifetime Limited
Cons
  • Appearance

I hope they check out the rest of their E3270 pumps.

This pump had to wait longer than expected as my shop was only busy for returns. The new pump was not compatible with the supplied rubber isolator. .The part number on the pump does not match the number on the box. The number on the old pump matched the number on the new box. I concluded that the wrong pump was in the right box.

Pros
  • Engineered to meet or exceed OE specifications for form and function.
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
