Durable Pump: Electric Fuel Pumps

I have been using this Airtex E8153 pump as the lift pump on my Chevy diesel truck for the past 4 years. It worked PERFECTLY - THERE WAS NEVER A FAILURE OF ANY KIND - during that time. Easy to knit, easy to assemble. $35 for a fuel pump that lasts 4 years is STEALING on my books!

Won't last. fits electric fuel pumps

This pump was installed on 11th August 2021, it failed on 17th October after 216 miles. This was installed on 93 S3500 6.5 Turbodiesels. A new tank, new lines and a pre-filter were installed for this purpose. Little did I know it only had a 30 day guarantee and my return window ended on September 11, 2021. Don't waste your money.

Pump defective after 750km.

The pump worked properly after instillation. It was very easy to install. Offers high fuel pressure. After about 750 miles on the freeway, it just stopped working with no warning. Installed with relay and recommended high flow fuel inlet filter on a 1986 Chevy K30 6.2L Detroit Diesel (CUCV). I do not recommend this product, buy something better.
