🔧 AISIN TKT-031 Engine Timing Belt Kit including Water Pump Review

Wrong roll included. If I had read the reviews first I would have realized that this is a common occurrence with this kit/seller. The part didn't fit, wasted time and had to pay an Uber to get to work until I got the right part.

A month has passed, the set works perfectly, everything arrived. Only time will tell but be aware there are no 3 engine gaskets in this kit, I think it's the crank, the main one and another, make sure you get them for the full job .

This kit is the best way to save money. All parts are from OEM suppliers. Bad = I ordered two of these kits and both had the wrong timing belt tensioner. It was slightly larger than the work that came out of my IS300. I don't think I want to order a third one. Some of the other reviewers are correct that you really do need a few extra o-rings for the bypass tube.

Installed this (my trusted mechanic) on my 2001 IS300 in March 2014, about 15,000 miles ago (yes I've driven that much - 282,000 when it was installed and my Car is 297k at the time of this review No issues with any parts My mechanic even commented that it was a great price as (as he recalled) it was either OEM or OEM replacement quality UPDATE Jan 2015: It's over 10 months ago / 24,000 miles since I installed it in my car, knock on wood, still no problems, car runs great!

Kit must have been assembled by Friday. As another buyer mentioned, the wrong timing belt tensioner is included. See attached picture. The tensioner in the kit I received is for the Tundra if the part number is LAT1030-1. I had to buy another tensioner. So if/when you get this kit check your tensioner to make sure you have the right one before you get stuck like me. Also, don't forget to use 3 bypass rings. 96761-24022 (2x)96761-24028 (1x)

I purchased this item on July 27, 2017. On November 16th I heard a knock in the engine and took the car to the mechanic. My mechanic told me the water pump was broken and the timing belt was damaged. I had to replace the timing chain and water pump which required an additional $200 of work. Your product appeared to be defective. The mechanic provided me with the worn parts that I have. I need to know if your product is still under warranty. Please let me know, thank you very much.

I wish there was a 4.5 star button and I would rate it that way but it doesn't so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. The details and the quality are just perfect. My mechanic said everything fits perfectly and there were no problems installing it. However, when replacing the timing belt on a 2jz-ge engine, you will also need to replace 2 camshaft oil seals and 1 crankshaft oil seal.
