Great products! shown

I bought these two sets (Extra Fine and Akashiya 20 Color Set) for an artist friend who told me they were both exceptionally wonderful. I have since bought the same pair for a different one and got the same review. Now it's my turn!

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Not as thick as other sets

Love it! Best in Art Supplies

I'm in love with these brush pens! Nice thin lines and it's easy for me to control the width of the lines. I love the subtle colors and the fact that they are waterproof is amazing as I wash with watercolor after applying the lines! love it

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Unsafe

Probably the prettiest brush pen I've ever used

These amazing things - they actually have fibrous tips instead of felt like most brushes and you can copy or prismacolor with them without spreading. They can do almost anything from calligraphy to incredibly fine lines.

Great pens for drawing.

Fine tips, beautiful colors. Good alternatives to something like the Pentel Pocket Brush Pen. With thin tips you can't get as fat which makes it a lot easier to use compared to other bristle brush pens I own. fast movement as pentel bag can achieve. My girlfriend thought he was out of ink until I told her to slow down.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • So-so

Great pen with real bristle brush tips

Almost exactly what I was looking for. I love painting with the tip of a brush. I use a sumi ink filled Pentel Aquash for drawing, sketching and calligraphy, but I needed other colors and didn't have to buy and paint them myself. I really like the thin tips on these but wish they were a bit stiffer. Unlike most other "brush pens" with "brush tips" these have bristle brush tips rather than solid felt tips.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Something different

Great color palette

I bought these under the mistaken belief that they were water soluble. However, my first attempt at watercolor quickly corrected this opinion. You can see in the picture where the Mizuasagi failed to mix under the onslaught of the water. However, they still work well in combination with watercolors and create beautiful subtle shading, for example brown eyes are Hiwadairo. Offers a wide range of pen thicknesses, making it suitable for both fine lines and concentrated strokes. Definitely cheaper…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Great price

Rhapsody in five colors

bought these guns for a slimmer alternative to the Pentel Pocket Brush Pen - they are, if not very, waterproof, if not quite to the same level of bristle or ink quality. I worked more slowly with these pens unless I needed a more streaky drybrush effect. It's not that they're below standard - in fact, they're superior! only slight signs of wear and dryness after about 4 months of use and I'm god knows sloppier than the average art student. they have a certain firmness that makes their lines…
