Best available brake pads

Perfect fit! These pads are exactly what my Acadia originally had and have lasted 150,000 miles. They're quiet, have exceptional stopping power and are virtually dust-free.

Pros
  • Product box width is 12.7 cm
Cons
  • old

Ideal for installation - spare parts

Ideal for installation, no noise problems and stops like new. I've spent my career at TI for a brake manufacturer, but I chose these pads because I wasn't sure they would perform as well as a product from a GM brake pad manufacturer.

Pros
  • Packing height 9.144 cm
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Very old overstock best in brake system

The box I received was dented and the grease in the bag was dry. Year of manufacture 2016. The brake pads themselves may not be affected, but I sent them back. I reordered another set and again a battered box without a bag of lube and everything in the box was lubed. Year of construction 2014! I sent them back and bought new brake pads at the store.

Pros
  • Installation Type: Vehicle Specific
Cons
  • Protection

Chevy Traverse braking back on track

Nothing beats OEM feel and quality. I replaced the pads and rotors on my wife's 12" traverse with a Platinum Car Craft about 2 years ago and they didn't last 26,000 miles before warping and causing vibration problems in the steering wheel when braking. Decided to go back to the OEM and replaced the pads with Akebono and the rotors with ACDelco. Couldn't be happier as the braking feel is fantastic and the car comes to a halt in no time - c'mon, it's a heavy SUV :).

Pros
  • Length of packaged product is 8.25"
Cons
  • Something different
