I have always used akebono brake pads. The price is a bit higher than other brands, but it's worth it. Perfect fit for my '06 Rav4 (no 3rd row model). Highly recommended.

If this is a genuine Akebono brand I believe they will last the rest of the car's life. I will come back in a few years and change it to 5 if they hold up as they should.

I like their looks and design. I didn't like that they don't really match the 2018 RAV4 Limited. They are shorter by about 1/8 inch so they don't stay inside. !Prior to ordering I made sure Revain said they would fit by checking their installation info which reassured me they would fit but they don't actually fit. I bought these for my 2015 rav4. I thought these were the wrong pads as the ends seemed too short so I used other Autozone pads but they looked the same. So I went ahead and installed akebono pads. They fit but not like the OEM pads. But since I put them on, they are very quiet and smooth! UPDATE** Unfortunately these pads will not fit if you have a Japanese made Toyota (VIN starts with J).
