Great product in boxes, hutches and stables

Easy to install and comes with almost everything you need to install. Heating works great, now my dogs don't want to leave the kennel anymore

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Something different

Good product! - Boxes, houses and pens

Ideal for cold winter nights. Our 2 Shelties and our cat spend the whole night in the kennel. Good product. Haven't used it yet in the summer so not sure about the fan.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Definitely warm! for boxes, houses and enclosures

Now my dogs love to keep it warm in their house! It definitely works, sometimes I see my Dalmatian lying in front of the door in the morning. There is no temperature setting other than high or low.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Doesn't heat up and the fan only works for cooling

I don't like that the fan doesn't work for heating. Only works on the fan. Heat is only generated from above. It doesn't get really hot, just enough.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • there are nuances

In summer, the fan function does not cool, but lets fresh air through

Excellent! Put it in the kennel I built. Even with single-digit outside temperatures, the kennel stays inside in the 60's and 70's. My puppies are cozy and warm on winter nights. The energy consumption is minimal. I went from $40-$50 a month on electricity to less than $8. The fan function is not very cool in summer, but provides fresh air.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than other options

Expensive and short.

Very expensive and only lasted a year. We live in California so I only used it last winter and not that much this summer because there were dogs in my house during the day and it wasn't that hot at night. So today, after a few months of not using it, I went outside to clean the house and winterize it and it no longer works! I like it but a bit pricey for a year of moderate use.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Low repairability

Now thumbs down: Dogs

Second rating: Stops working after the first year. It really costs too much to last just one season. I ended up buying a heat mat for her and it works great. First review: Works great. We installed it in a wooden shipping crate (6ft x 6ft x 4ft deep) that was converted into a cat house for 6 outdoor cats. The box has been split (top/bottom) clapboard, insulated, fitted with a window, doors and 2 pet doors. We installed Akoma Heat & Breeze downstairs because heat rises up. Warms the room great.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

MY DOGS LOVE THIS THING!

Great fun product. We recently built a new boys kennel and installed this device. It was easy to install and even easier to set up. I used to bring the dogs in when it was cold. After installing this I knew it was going to be a cold night one night and tried to get the dogs to come in for the night. They looked at me like I was crazy, turned around and went back to the kennel! They used to love coming into the house! I think they must like Acoma. Always keep your dogs cozy. After all, they are…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power
