Party like its 1995

This is probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever bought. Here's why: 1. You'll need either a serial port (which hasn't been on a PC or laptop for over 10 years) or a USB adapter.2. The software had all sorts of Windows 10 compatibility issues that I had to google to fix. The interface is something from 1995.4. Good luck getting a replacement cable when that flimsy thing wears out.5. When you do something, you feel like you're doing it in the most complex and confusing way. 6. Much…

You can do much better, I'm sure.

Not easy to use, not easy to install. Came here looking for a replacement cable as the cable that came with it was slightly worn and thought I'd make a few comments. We had one of them who managed two castles for four years. Gathering traffic information through one of the castles is a trip to the castle and back to your computer, and updating the castle is a separate round trip. If your locks aren't close to your table, it's very inconvenient. I suppose you could install software on a laptop…

Terrible instructions

I had to go through the Data Communications Module 3 (DTM) configuration instructions several times to try to not only load lock data from a DL4 windows program for the DTM (no problem with them), but also so that I can get the DTM to load the data into the lock (no luck for them). DO NOT waste time calling Alarm Lock - they know nothing about support for THEIR own products and will put you through to your local sales representative. Three weeks later I'm still trying to load the DTM into the…
