real rating. Can't beat the quality for the price.

I'm not sure what some of these reviewers are talking about. This scooter is very well made. Maybe competitors are jealous of the low price? My son loves this. He is a big 9 year old boy, drives smoothly and does stunts right away. I assemble it myself and have no problems with the steering wheel or "sharp" edges? Can't beat the quality for the price.

Poor quality for sport

We bought this scooter a month ago for my 8 year old son. I've used it 4-5 times so far, but it's already completely unusable (front steering wheel is stuck). We just disassembled the scooter and found that all the ball bearings were rusted and broken after only a few uses. Bearings must have rusted long before delivery as we live in Southern California, the scooter has always been garaged and it's summer (climate not prone to rust). Poor quality of materials and technology.

Pros
  • Very good quality
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Handlebars not tight, upgrade done correctly

Bought this scooter for my son. It appears to be neatly finished but the stem tightening bracket will not tighten making it unusable. I emailed the manufacturer and they asked for a video I made and now I get no response. I have to drill through the parts and insert a screw to make it work. Disappointing money spent. My son spent his own money! The Scooter Company update fixed the problem and actually delivered a second scooter for free. I appreciate this service.

Pros
  • Great overall specs
Cons
  • Nothing here

Handles fell off but they sent a replacement!

July 1st 2020. I just got my scooter and the handlebars are too big for the fork. Even if the screws are tightened, you can immediately pull out the handlebar without any effort! I don't know if I can get the right handlebar size for the fork or if I should just return it. Seems I'm not the only one with the handlebars attached properly :(. UPDATE July 12th, 2020 The company sent me a new scooter with new handlebar mods to make the handlebars a perfect match for the deck! They were quick to…

Bring your own tools - skates, skateboards and scooters

Update: This is a very disappointing purchase. We didn't even have a full summer, maybe 3.5 months. The lower ball joints have already come loose and worn out. The handlebar grips pop up every time my daughter tries to jump and also the ball bearing issue. Just not worth the money. My 8 year old daughter uses it almost every day and takes it to the skate park for ramps and half pipes. I have to take an Allen key and pliers each time to do at least one repair during the visit. The handles don't…

Pros

Sturdy and cool scooter

**annual update*** so it moved shortly after my son got it so it sat in storage for a while. When he came back to it, we found that the bars were wrong. We tried tightening and adjusting it and a simple rabbit hop loosened it. I contacted the company, sent photos and video (despite exceeding our return deadline) and they sent him a new one which is much stronger and we had no problems at all. Highly recommended and excellent customer service. I bought it as a birthday present for my sons (9…
