Great filters, they do the job!

I've looked at several and found no problems. They last pretty much 6 months. It's all about opening the outer foam from time to time and vacuuming out dust and hair to increase the efficiency of the filter. We live in a town near the main street so this cleaner is open 24/7. It would be nice if the prices of these filters went down a bit, but overall it's reasonable for the quality and lifespan. I have not noticed any toxic odors from any of the devices I have used.

Multiple sizes: heating, cooling and air quality

I have ordered this filter several times and it has always been exactly the same as the filter that comes with the air purifier. The last two filters I received were different. The fit was not as tight and of lower quality. The pre-filter looks like thick felt material and is not as easy to clean as the original. The last one I got didn't want to stay in the car because it was a bit small. I have three dogs and I really needed to change the air filter so I folded a piece of thick paper to slide

Expensive but worth it for us.

Not cheap. But you should have looked into this before buying an Alen air purifier, right? We LOVE our Alen and have had him since 2015. I am currently using it in a space where I 3D print with plastics such as PETG and ABS. ABS is known to emit benzene and some other VOCs so the natural choice for me to eliminate this threat was to purchase an Alen VOC filter as we already had a purifier. The extra carbon added to this filter makes it ideal for VOC filtration, which should not be taken…

Expensive, and it's that filter that gives off a strong odor on the first day of use.

Alen Pet Smell Hepa Filter definitely has a strong odor when it is first installed. I've never had this problem with the other types they sell and have been using our Alen units for over 5 years. The smell will disappear after the filter has been running for a day, but be prepared when you buy this filter. I've read about this and I think it has to do with the fact that this filter contains charcoal/charcoal and will absorb pretty much any odor. I suspect it absorbed the odors while it was…
