Stunning Alex Evenings Plus Size Long Dress with Mandarin Neckline Jacket for Women Review

Based on other reviews I ordered a size up (I had a very short work desk so I can't come back) and it worked great. The fit was good, just needed a few adjustments (I took the straps and hemmed the dress and lining about 4 inches). It was a beautiful dress that made me feel very elegant and last but not least, VERY comfortable for a long day of wedding events.

I love this dress! I wore it to my niece's wedding when I lit the Unity candle with the mother of the groom. I replaced my sister who passed away last year. I got a lot of extras. The dress is very flattering, comfortable and very well made. I needed alterations, but this is not a minus for the dress. just a different body type than the norm. I definitely recommend this dress.

It was a really nice dress at a pretty reasonable price. It was tasteful, stylish but with a bit of bling. It was quite a royal blue that seemed to have a purple hue to it. However, I ordered my usual size and it turned out to be at least two sizes too big. To wear it I would have had to make significant changes to the waist, bust, straps and hemmed it by about 8 inches (I'm 5ft 4). It was for a wedding that was approaching too soon to return for a much smaller size.

I wore this to my daughter's wedding. I saw a very similar dress in a bridal shop in the mother of the bride section but it was one Size up. They offered me to order a size 10 but it must have been very expensive. I went home and saw Revane. I saw the same dress and it was an Alex Evenings dress. Then I saw this Alex Evening dress, it was such a beautiful smoky gray and not expensive at all that I took the risk of buying it (only with a bluish cast to it).

Nice cut, hangs well. Luxurious, softly flowing skirt. The downside is sequins on the top and jacket. It's .shine. Straight out of the box, the dress leaves an ingenious train. The fabric of the top and jacket is a comfortable textured fabric with sequins. The skirt has a comfortable flap made of soft chiffon that conceals figure flaws well. I actually ordered a size too big as my size was out of stock so I had to alter it by adjusting the shoulder straps. I wore this to my daughter's formal wedding and reception and received many compliments! Of course, some sequins will fall off, but that's not the case.
