My dog weighs only 8.8 lbs and although it fits, he seems awkward. It seems that she feels unstable in the object and feels a lot of weight in it. One thing that bothered me on previous reviews was how low it would hang as I'm only 5ft 2in tall. The backpack hangs perfectly, like a wallet. Aside from the feeling of a lot of weight and the feeling that it's leaning to one side, the thing is well made.

I love this bag! We've used it for flights, grocery shopping, and hiking. My puppy loves it and she is very happy and comfortable in it, although she is 5.5kg it fits well. It seems she can jump out, but the sack is deep and she always has to hang one paw. I always wear it too. Be careful. There are two models of this product. One of them is "adjustable", meaning you can lengthen or shorten the strap depending on the size of the dog, your height, and whether or not it's comfortable to wear. I bought one of the adjustable ones and really liked it; ordered what i thought was another and it turned out not to be adjustable so the dog was hanging on me at about chest height and that rendered it useless. I carry my dog almost everywhere. If I see the slightest chance I can smuggle it in, I'll try.
