QUALITY IN ALL CLAD COOKWARE

I have been using All Clad cookware for over 40 years, I did not expect this from this manufacturer, the teflon coating is so poor I was almost offended. I've never bought expensive kitchenware or crockery online in the past, so I realized that buying for me means seeing and feeling what I'm paying for. Many Thanks.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Longtime

Not scratch resistant

This product represents excellent value for money. Unfortunately, after only two months of use, we got scratches on the pan. We were very careful with them, only using wooden and plastic spoons when cooking and silicone sponges to clean them, but somehow they still managed to scratch and dent one of the pots. The description says they don't scratch which is what we expect from the price we paid for these pans.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Incorrect cookware information

IT IS NOT INDUCTION READY but the ALL CLAd description says it can be used on all stovetops. Why did you answer in your Q&A that it definitely indicates readiness? If you let random people "like Bob" answer questions about your Allclad product, you can track the responses. If this was my product I wouldn't tell anyone except a company verified person who is knowledgeable about the product. waste of time.

Great performance but questionable durability

We are very pleased with the performance of this set although we are concerned about durability. We treat the set with care: hand wash only with non-abrasive sponges and mild dish detergent, avoid overheating, use only wooden or nylon utensils. However, our pan is slowly starting to scratch. Nothing bad so far, but we can say they're made differently than the all-clad sets of yesteryear. That makes great food. Just be prepared to replace them sooner than with a more durable set.

  • Quick Change
Cons

High quality. High price

Such an expensive product will never get 5 stars. Qualitative update: I deducted a star. The pot is downright dangerous. The handles get so hot you can't even touch them. The strainer will leak enough where the pot and strainer meet to render it unusable. While we were cooking potatoes we had to throw away the colander mid-cooking it made such a mess. Do not worry. If you can afford All-Clad, you can afford better. The pans are fine and cook well, although we still have to drizzle them over…

I bought a full set of cookware and thought I could use extra pots so I bought a two pot set. was hand washed. As you can see the coating is peeling off. The second photo shows a pot that was part of an entire cookware set that I bought a few months ago but have only used in the last two weeks due to a kitchen remodel. The third photo shows two pans side by side and as you can see there is a noticeable difference. Note: Both pans have been hand washed only and only scratch resistant utensils…

Terrible achievement - this set is rubbish!

All-Clad doesn't stand behind their product! I handled this set with kid gloves. Only hand-washed silicone utensils were used, kept with spacers between items. Less than a year has passed, all parts are scratched. According to All-Clad, this is *so* I use silicone utensils and any damage is my fault and not covered under warranty. Apparently it's ridiculous on my part to expect a non-stick polymer to last more than a few months. Save yourself hassle and money; Buy quality stainless steel that…

Potentially dangerous to you and your family

I have used All Clad for many years. This is my first nonstick all-clad set with glass lids (Essentials Antistick Pot Set 4-Piece Grey) that I bought from Revain. I bought these about three months ago to replace an old set of nonstick pans (Macy's brand) with glass lids that I've been using for almost 15 years. I've only used my new All Clad nonstick pans a few (8 to 10) times, usually to reheat soups and sauces. They are not used daily and I take good care of them when using them. So, today I…

Inspire you to cook more

I asked my wife what she thought of the set after I made a few dishes and below is what she said. ADVANTAGES: * Lots of parts! This set contains everything you need to cook in the kitchen. Four pots, two pots and even a universal insert that can be used as a sieve/steamer. Two silicone coasters are also included, but we don't use silicone or rubber hot foods, so we probably never will.* There are no plastic or rubber in this set. We recently threw out some of the utensils with plastic handles…
