very nice replacement for my gold one which was ruined by repeated freeze/thaw cycles when water got in. The two rear screws fit perfectly into the Original Equipment grille holes, no drilling required on the 2008 Chevy Tahoe

The product arrived in sealed packaging but the emblem was poorly finished and badly scratched. It appears to be solid aluminium, which is good, but the finish is very industrial, unpolished and scratches very easily. I would not recommend purchasing this item as there is another complaint of scratches on the surface. The product looks like it needs to be sprayed or dipped into a cleaned coating.
